about us

objective

Our goal is to create a new artistic dynamic, by supporting our local art scene and promoting contemporary art to a wider audience. We believe that contemporary art has a significant potential in Bangkok. Indeed, many elements are indicating that Bangkok will soon become a contemporary art center like other metropolises.

history

Launched in 2013, Galleries’ Nights is nowadays a highlight of the cultural season in Bangkok bringing together, year after year, a larger audience of onlookers and art lovers.

The inspiration of this event comes from “Nuit Blanche Paris” (Sleepless Night), an event where museum and art spaces stay open all-night long, which has now achieved worldwide reknown.

Galleries’ Nights turns the City of Angels into a festive and friendly open-museum. It used to invite a large audience to discover more than 70 galleries for two nights.

But since 2021, we also have a sister event: Galleries' Nights Bangsaen! Join us for this new celebration of art in cafés during five extra days,

#GN23

On January, 26th 2023 we launched the France-Thailand Year of Innovation !

Aiming to show that our friendship is not only focused on food or fashion, we wanted to highlight that France and Thailand work so well together on tech, space, urbanism, and are driven by a deep desire to reinvent themselves to facilitate the development of their societies and economies.

During all the year, many events were organized in order to build new brigdes between our two countries, such as during the National Science and Technology Fair or the Beyond Animation Festival !
